It was such an honor (and so fun) to make these elements for Leigh Bardugo’s Hell Bent. The book eventually won the honor of a 2023 Goodread Choice Award.

This was my first time animating a quadruped. Taking it from a flattened raster image and splitting it up into nearly-invisible joints was no easy task! I loved everything I learned in the process and I’m looking forward to more challenges like this.

Praise reels

The Executive Director of Marketing really wanted to add more anticipation for Bardugo’s fans. No better way to do so than showing off praise from readers… including Stephen King himself.

These reviews gained upwards of 14.1k views on Instagram*, clearly quite a hit with Flatiron’s book community!
